Time to let your website do the thinking
Although difficult, drafting your website design ideas and listening to the customer can be worth it in the long run.
I know what you’re saying, you’ve been in the web world long enough to know what works and what doesn’t. What will my client know? Likewise, after approaching the venue, fortunately I had no choice but to present my best plans and fulfill my clients’ wishes.
Creating a good website often means that it must be pleasing to the eye and perform well for search engines, but ultimately it must demonstrate the expertise of the company represented.
Following W3C (W3C Markup Validation Service) standards for valid HTML and CSS is important for good design and programming (but not essential for good Google PR, which I’ll talk about in a later post), so when designing, use easy-to-read text and Using simple HTML styles and CSS fonts like Tahoma 11pt for good page layout.
I will post a list of issues where disclosure is mutually beneficial, including how in some cases traffic to the site increases.
